If your child struggles with math anxiety, shuts down when they make a mistake, or hesitates to speak up in class, you're not alone, and it's usually not about ability.
The Math Confidence Workshops are designed to help students in grades 5–12 shift how they experience math. This small-group, virtual series isn’t about drills or speed, it’s about building the mindset, tools, and self-belief they need to succeed.
Students will attend four virtual sessions over two weeks.
During the workshops, students will:
1) Find their mathematical voice and understand that their thinking and perspective matter, even if they don’t have the “right” answer right aware
2) Recognize what math anxiety looks like for them and how to respond when it shows up, instead of shutting down
3) Embrace mistakes as part of the learning process and discover what those moments really mean for growth
4) Use anxiety-busting strategies in the moment and practical tools they can pull out right when they need them most
